Current drain while off
Is there a way to get the remaining life of the battery? If it also holds the memory settings, I would hate to lose all of my memory settings – and it would be nice to replace the battery before that

There are 2 ways to change the scanning -- just pushing the SCN wen it is showing, and also holding it down for a second -- and then you will get the ability to select the scan steps you want. I have
