Assuming you're using the hand mic that came with it, does it still do it if you disconnect the mic at the radio? If not, it's the cable or mic. You could then connect just the cable to see if the cab

Thanks for the info on the TBW settings - I think they're used no matter how you feed audio into the 7000, but if you run your audio in via pin 11 on the ACC port, you bypass both the mic gain and com
