Re: [IC-7000] Remote display question
I built my cable and ran it to my AvMaps G4T, Works great..
FYI: Due to the same problem that most of us have (MONEY) I'm looking at selling my station.
I have the IC-7K with remote mounting

Re: [IC-7000] Transmitting With Adjacent Mobile Antennas
Regarding the static bleeder resistors, the 7K's HF port has 3 33K SMT resistors in series (to increase breakdown voltage) to ground near the J1 HF receptacle. They are on the bottom of the PA board

Re: Remote display question
I believe there is a 3.5 mm jack on the back of the 7000 for video output. Pages 11 and 18 in my manual. I don't recall any output from the ACC socket where the Din cable plugs in.
Are any of these

Re: [IC-7000] Remote display question
Gene,
If you have factory nav you have to first buy an adapter that will allow you to put aux video signals into it. For most of the GM products it's about a $300 part. Some are less but by now there

Looking for an ICOM IC-7000
The only place I look at equipment is qth.com
You will find some great deals, a good feed back forum to check out the seller / buyer.
I bought my 7K on there for $900.

I got mine at Dayton in 2007. Total shipped to my door was $1269.98 including RMK and LDG AT-7000. It made the radio about $1100.
