For what it’s worth, I found this in the RT Systems Knowledge Base. I would ask RT Systems just to be sure. They are very helpful.

Icom IC 207
Can you use the IC7000 cable for programing the IC 207 ?
Is the IC207 the same as the IC207H ?
Does anyone have the computer program for the IC207 you could send to me ?
Thanks

Re: Getting Old (hi hi)
I use the LDG tuner that was designed as a match to the IC-7000 and have been trying to find a record of where I got my cable. I think I got it from LDG themselves.
Icom has used the same four pin,

Hi Does anyone know why icom did the auto band switching voltage as a mod, and not have it working from the start without soldering a link between tracks,
Thanks Dave

Re: Getting Old (hi hi)
Does the tuner have a cable for the standard Icom? if so that will work. If it will emulate an AH-3 or 4 it will work OK using the 4 pin connection on the back for the tuner/

Re: restarting
That 3 volt drop is probably much more that is so quick you cannot see it and enough to drop out the radio.
If you are measuring at the 13.8 volt point on the tuner plug it would be a good indication

Re: restarting
Started the truck no restart on the radio. Checked voltage when I key up it drops 3vdc. This pulles a lot more than what I took out. Of course maybe not so bad, at least I won't run my battery down

Re: restarting
As others have said, this may be the supply voltage problem. If you are doing this and a vehicle and the engine is not running, try it with the engine running.
