There is a different email address on his QRZ page. Has anyone confirmed with him that he is not selling directly (outside of fleabay) at this point?

Re: MFJ-1708 T/R switch and SDR radio
I can't answer your SDRPlay questions...
Just be aware there are 3 current versions of the MFJ-1708... The base 1708 is a true T/R Switch for old boat anchor rigs... I don't think you want that

Re: OPC-1443
I bought DL5AL’s OPC-1443 alternative separation kit in May 2021 for 50 Euros. Attached is the manual.
If I needed another, I’d buy one from him again.
Contact him for one.

MFJ-1708 T/R switch and SDR radio
Has anyone used the MFJ-1708 T/R switch and a SDR with the IC7000? Also were they able to control the radio thru SDRPlay?

Re: in the adjustment menu i can not get the driver idle current down to the 1 amp setting
Hi
I have ordered a new UHF fet, it should be with me in about 2weeks time,
I will let you all know when it arrives and I have fitted it,
I hope it will not be a fake,
Thanks all for your help

Re: in the adjustment menu i can not get the driver idle current down to the 1 amp setting
I agree with Steve.
When you can not get 2.5 Ampere with UHF Adj, you have UHF mosfet with any issue. You can get power (often 15-25 watt….) but you need to fix with new mosfet RD60HUF.

Re: in the adjustment menu i can not get the driver idle current down to the 1 amp setting
Hi Steve
Thanks for the info,
Like I said I am getting full output power now, but the data sheet does say it is a 60w item, so that is probably why I am still seeing 35w, but I do want it as it should

Re: in the adjustment menu i can not get the driver idle current down to the 1 amp setting
Dave,
The UHF Idle Current definitely needs to be set to 2.5 amps for minimum distortion and spurious emissions. I would suggest replacing the UHF PA FET. There are other possible causes, but
