Re: New Band Added?
Thanks Chuck...I'll do that. Probably put it in CW portion of 75 and leave the original on the high end for SSB.

Re: New Band Added?
I can't answer your question, but it's along the lines of a problem I have.
My IC-7000 is primarily for 2m and 70cm, but it's my backup rig for HF-6 also. The problem is that I use it so

Re: New Band Added?
Hi Chuck,
Yes that's it. It looks like I added "General" to the band up and down. I thought it was 30 meters but I think I was on 30 at the time. OK so how to I erase that hi?

I used an IC-7000 in my truck for quite some time before having to retire it to my shack, so you'd think I would just know this. I'm pretty sure though that the 7000 will

New Band Added?
Somehow in all my switching this past week chasing the VP8, between CW SSB and FT/8, I accidentally added an extra 30 meter screen to the "Band" up and down. That would be OK except when I try to

MTTY config for IC-7000
I am trying to set up N1MM to run RTTY using the MTTY digital engine. I am using a Signalink Interface. Do I keep the rig in USB mode like I do for other digital programs, such as HRD for PSK31?

Wanted: MFJ-760 or MFJ-7000 Emcomm
Hi, All,
I'm still looking for a nice MFJ-706 or MFJ-7000 here in the UK (overseas deals would probably not be effective because of the weight). I wrote the original review in PW and was talked into

Thanks. One more thing to try; I was thinking of hanging headset on the cable to hear whether there are any signals coming through the cable, too.
Take care

Don't forget about video out on the back if you are using the 7000 as a base unit.
Any video monitor or display will work.

If you are indeed using the CI-V port on he radio, you should probably go into the menu and UNLINK USB FROM REMOTE. Your now have two separate line of communication with the radio, using the USB as

I have a USED IC-7000, I know the display is fine and this radio may work, it does receive on all bands and acts like it wants to work.
This is a radio ONLY, no mic, no power cable or mounting
