Re: [IC-7000] STuck in Xmit / loss of coordination between rig and FLRIG
What type of computer are you using? I have experienced the same problem on my Mac and IC-7410 with the same programs. I just got the SignaLink to try to remedy it. I can get 2 clean TXs before it

Re: [IC-7000] STuck in Xmit / loss of coordination between rig and FLRIG
Thanks, Bud, but unfortunately it's not that simple.
No problem with missing from macro, and no way to toggle back to receive with either fldigi or flrig. The 7000 TX light stays on.

Re: [IC-7000] STuck in Xmit / loss of coordination between rig and FLRIG
Are you sure that you have put <RX> at the end of the message?
You should be able to toggle manually from TX to RX to make the red light go off on the Signalink and radio to unkey.

STuck in Xmit / loss of coordination between rig and FLRIG
I am having two, possibly related problems with my IC-7000, connected to fldigi/flrig through a Signallink using the 6 pin cable and a CI-V cable with a good chip. The problems are new, and I can't

Re: [IC-7000] Screwdriver Antenna Controller
The issue here is not about one computer talking to multiple radios via a serial port. The user wants to have a tuner controller and a computer talk to the same radio over one CI-V port on the 7K.

Look at N4PY software. I believe it will do what you want.

Re: IC7000 remote
I think the OP was meaning remote operation via internet/IP many 100's
and even 1000's of Km's. The clue is in the phrase "Take it along with you"

Graham - loving my 7000 more each day!

Re: [IC-7000] Screwdriver Antenna Controller
CI-V is a “one wire plus ground” simplex serial protocol using open collector/drain transmitter devices. They can be wire-ORed with no problem unlike normal RS-232/TTL level duplex

Re: [IC-7000] Screwdriver Antenna Controller
I don't plan to share a computer's serial port, so not sure it's an issue, but I'll report if and when I do this. The unofficial IC-7000 faq that I found says this should work. we'll see.

Re: [IC-7000] IC7000 remote
The IC-7000 has 2 separation cables available an 11' and a 16'.
The OPC-1444 is the 16 foot cable. Works well for me.

Re: [IC-7000] IC7000 remote
The old 706 and newer 7100 can Do it
The 7K has a video signal for the display and it cant se separated as remote without the cable
But with over CAT with a good software in the other end ... It will

Looks like it might work. The other Icom rigs are similar.

Yeah! Push the button on the right side and slide it to the left. You do have the separation cable, right?

IC7000 remote
Is there a way to remove the front face of the IC7000 and take it along for remote operation like the TS-480 radio can do ?
How is anyone using their IC7000 remotely ? Programs ? interface ? etc
