Re: [IC-7000] Re: IC-7000 don´t want to switch on

I advise to follow all the way from 12 v up to the control unit. I've fixed
two IC7000 that have had same problems in the metalizing of the holes on the printed circuit board where the thread passes from one side to the other side. Hello,
did the trx not switch on at all, means there is no display visible? How do you did a reset when trx did not switch on? Have you checked the contacts from the front panel? Maybe the display unit get short. Take a look here. 10.7MHz IF Output?
Mark Schoonover
I'm wondering if there's a mod for the 7000 to provide IF output. Would
like to have a real spectrum scope. Is it possible? Googling around mostly returns hits on the R7000 receiver. 73 - Mark Schoonover - KA6WKE http://www.ka6wke.net QSX: 21.446 SSB & 29.6 FM

Retransmission of Received Audio
Eugene Coggins
Hello everyone:
I am new to amateur radio so forgive me if I fail to use the proper nomenclature. And I am a proud owner of an IC-7000. Several of my local contacts who own Kenwoods have the ability to record my transmission for about five or ten seconds and transmit it back to me. That way I can hear how I sound on the radio. This can be a very valuable tool. I have read and reread the chapter on Voice Recorder Functions in the manual. It seems that you can record a received transmission and are only able to play it back, but not retransmit it. You can record your voice through the microphone and transmit it. But it seems you cannot retransmit received audio. Am I missing something? Thanks Gene 73 KB3ZIP
