In my experience, it's better to use the keyboard male-female extension cables; those I found - cheap - were screened, had all pins cabled , and had an extra wire not connected... I just cut away the female part and used the male with the right lenght of cable. I found it to be lots better as the mouse or keyboard cables. Hope this helps, 73. Augusto I2JJR / HB9TZA
