Now that we are establishing ourselves as a group with a shared interest in all things related to humor and religion on this new platform, I would like to urge each and every one of you to begin filling out your "Group Profile." This is vital for group members to form an idea of who you are and what you are interested in. And in turn, this will facilitate the kind of cross-pollination of ideas and scholarly networking that is he main purposes of a group like ours. 
Please don't put this off... 
I look forward to seeing at least half of all group members posting their profiles by November 20. If we fall short of this goal, I'll send out another reminder ;-).
