A few weeks ago, the proceedings of a conference on religion, humour and laughter in formative stages of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Judaism have been published (Humour in the Beginning). The conference was organised (and the proceedings edited) by prof. Paul van der Velde and myself. We look back at a great conference (it feels very long ago, it was organised even before the pandemic), which has resulted, I think, in a various and highly interesting volume (but that is up to you to decide of course).
