DEADLINE EXTENSION & REMINDER
Dear members,
ten days ago, I invited you to submit a proposal for a talk at this year’s conference of the International Society for Humor Studies (ISHS) in Bologna, Italy, June 29-July 3, 2020. HRN would like to present a panel proposal (or two) at this event. Since I have not received any proposals from HRN members to date, I decided to extend the deadline to February 2nd (one week from now). I strongly urge all members to consider this opportunity. ISHS conferences are a marvelous place to go to for intellectual stimulation, networking, research, and enrichment.
The subject of your talk should be relevant to the field of humor studies, and it should focus specifically on an aspect (aspects) of religion. Depending on the degree of interest and the number of proposals that are submitted, we can shape the thematic direction of the panel or even consider submitting two different panel proposals. The scope of your talk should be suitable for a 15-20 minute presentation. By February 2nd, please submit an outline of up to 200 words regarding your planned talk to schweizerb@....
More information about the conference can be found here: https://eventi.unibo.it/ishs-2020
Looking forward to your response.
