I am calling on the members of HRN to submit a proposal for a talk at this year’s conference of the International Society for Humor Studies (ISHS) in Italy, June 29-July 3, 2020. HRN would like to present a panel proposal for 3-4 speakers at this event.

The subject of your talk should be relevant to the field of humor studies, and it should focus specifically on an aspect (aspects) of religion. Depending on the degree of interest and the number of proposals that are submitted, we can shape the thematic direction of the panel or even consider submitting two different panel proposals. The scope of your talk should be suitable for a 15-20 minute presentation. By January 25, please submit an outline of up to 200 words regarding your planned talk to schweizerb@....
