Plug In Simulator resistor value question, and a update
Don't think it's critical but 22k is a good guess.

I recall them being much larger, 22k or even 1M. CMOS here so doesn't need much current. Mark

Plug In Simulator Service Manual 7-2 and 7-3
You are welcome. I have (I think) 4 of these... 2 work and 2 do not. Repairing the last 2 is on my (long) to-do list. ;-) I would recommend replacing the 74Cxxx parts with 74HCxxx versions. Don't thin

The question came from me. I had one of these units years (and years) ago. I recall plugging it into a 75 but it did nothing. (maybe tanked the system... do not remember) Then I moved and had to get r

There's always the ROM simulator (82713A). I wonder if someone smarter than I could "simulate the simulator" in a small PIC or other suitable device? Mark

Pod 8k Ram modules
That's a tough one. One of my ROM simulators (82713A) does this and I never figured out why. (A topic here somewhere). The RAM chips are through hole and not easily replaced. They cut the leads right

I know I reported the ROM versions in my (4) 75's but cannot find that. Must have been removed/lost/deleted... I recall some as all a's and some as all b's but no mixed versions. My s/n's are at best
