We just left Staats Island Road, no luck with the swan, but other notable sightings were a Greater Yellowlegs flying around and calling, lots of Savannah Sparrows and at least two Vesper Sparrows in the field ruts, a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, and a flyover Great Blue Heron.
