Northern Flicker, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker

Alan

In a  typical winter I get Downy, Hairy, and Red-bellied Woodpeckers at the feeders. Northern Flickers and Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, which are certainly around here in the warmer weather, have almost never visited the feeders, and have only done so during the past winter or two. This morning I had both at my suet feeder. :)

Still hoping for a Pileated visit to the suet someday. We do see them in the yard on occasion and they are a fairly common sights while walking or driving on the local roads.

Clear skies, Alan
