I saw an American Golden-Plover and Pectoral Sandpiper at Cohoes Flats this afternoon that have been reported there recently. They were hanging out with some Killdeer. Both birds took off at one point, flew around and seemed to be sparring with each other in the air before landing again. Waterproof footwear or scope recommended if you go.
