Cape May Warblers, Selkirk

In a year when most warblers seem to be arriving behind schedule, I was surprised to see Cape May Warblers in two places in Selkirk this afternoon. It’s a bit on the early side for them. Both were brilliant males. Other FOY birds for me today were Chimney Swift and American Redstart. Yellow-rumped Warblers are still abundant. I also saw eight Blue-gray Gnatcatchers this afternoon, they seem to be everywhere.
