Currently at Basic Creek Reservoir in Westerlo there are at least three Black Scoters and two gorgeous male Long-tailed Ducks. Also hundreds of Ruddy and Ring-necked Ducks, Common and Hooded Mergansers, and growing numbers of Bufflehead. An access permit from the Albany Water Department is required to bird here.
