the pair of immature Tundra Swans was still present at silver Beach on the west side of Saratoga lake this morning. however they flew toward the south end of the lake just after I arrived at about 9am. they circled around the southern edge of the lake a bit but I couldn't keep them in view from the angle I had. I couldn't relocate them from vantage points on the SW corner of the lake, but that doesn't preclude them being in some hidden bit of shoreline. if they did take off, it would seem plausible to look for them further south like tomhannock reservoir or on the Hudson -- gregg recer malta NY
