A male Canvasback that was first reported on November 14 by M. Ingles continues as of noon today on Basic Creek Reservoir. It has been reported by many on eBird in the interim. The north lobe of the reservoir is mostly frozen, but the south lobe remains open. There is still a good variety of the usual ducks there. Reminder - a permit from the Albany Water Department is required to enter the reservoir grounds.
