Supplementing Scott's list, I didn't have Prairie Warbler or Baltimore Oriole, but I did have a singing Cape May Warbler along the western edge of the service road loop, a hooting barred owl near the skeeter bowl, a broad-winged hawk in the same area, and a Nashville Warbler. A Blue-headed vireo was singing by the Jones Barn, and I heard Black-throated Blue Warbler sing once from the direction of the North Loop trail. I was also able to finally obtain some photos of the extremely hormonal male Sapsucker who has been banging away on the gazebo at the Research Ponds for several weeks now. Highlights of this morning's exploration of 5 Rivers EEC in Delmar included a singing male Baltimore Oriole by the parking lot, a Northern Waterthrush singing at the north end of the Fox Marsh, and FOY prairie, and Black-and-White Warblers, and Common Yellowthroat.
