Re: Cohoes flats
To answer my own question, it looks like they've widened and put cement/gravel down on the path down to the flats from the lot. It'll be a lot easier to get down there now.

Anyone know what's going on with the parking area on Clark Ave? It's roped off with caution tape this morning.

For those who haven't birded here before, I've included a map to the area. You can park across the road then cross the suspension bridge. Go left, and you can look over the top of the falls for birds

Re: Short-billed dowitcher, pectoral sandpiper, falls view park
Now there's two dowitchers, zach and I think they're short-billed. And the possible stilt sandpiper is looking more like one as we observe.

Re: Short-billed dowitcher, pectoral sandpiper, falls view park
not sure about the short-billed dowitchers now, good time to come as one is acting more like a stil sandpiper and one is rather large-looking.
