seems to be getting tamer. Many close looks yesterday. and again

In he midst of all this wind today, two Bald Eagles were soaring?
(getting blown around is more likely) near a ridge in Lost Valley,

This afternoon, a flock of about 20 Red-winged Blackbirds flew over the
fields near Coxsackie.
I hope they brought their longjohns with them...
Also, an American Kestrel in New Baltimore.

eagle at about 7:45 AM today flying upstream along the Mohawk at

Pine siskins at feeder
After my feeders being empty for a month, I restocked and filled them
all. Then I couldn't believe what I saw...pine siskins amongst the
goldfinches! Counted 5 and was pretty excited.
