No destination this week: 4/15
Rain and 45 degrees - nope. At least a good soaking rain should provide stopover points for shorebirds which are beginning to touch down in our area - watch those wet fields!

Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher - Dwaas Kill
I've noticed a BG Gnatcatcher reported by Donald Slick at the Dwaas Kill Nature Preserve in Clifton Park and easily found the super noisy bird this morning not far into the south entrance!

Highlights earlier today on the Tomhannock Reservoir in Rensselaer County include a Caspian Tern, also 4 Bonaparte Gulls. A lone Horned Grebe was seen at the north end.
