Pardon me, that is the tour road at Saratoga National Historical Park.

Fox Sparrows

Lindsey Duval <lindsey.duval@...>

Fox Sparrows are moving through, heard two singing (saw one) near the tour road (now open), about 1 mile south of the office. Had one singing on the north end of Wrights Loop yesterday as well.

Other good birds on the tour road today have been Sapsucker and some new Cedar Waxwings.

Re: Chukars

There was one running around the Lark street area in downtown Albany a couple of years ago.

In non-exotic news, I had 34 species before AM this morning at five rivers.  Highlights were a male
Rusty Blackbird at the Skeeter Bowl, a FOY Field Sparrow by the Vlomankill Pavilion, and a singing Brown Creeper (Larch Lane).  Yesterday morning I had 30 species there, but the highlight was the pair of North American River Otters (see photo.)

There is at least one private local release in the Northumberland area.  I have photos from 2 different years in approximately the same location.

Horned Grebe - Round Lake

Lindsey Duval <lindsey.duval@...>

I noticed an earlier checklist on eBird from Craig D had 2 Horned Grebes on Round Lake, so I hauled from Wrights Loop and the drive was worth it! One of the Horned Grebes was right up next to the boat launch checking everybody out, giving really close views! Could even see the red eye in bins. Couldn't find the other on the choppy water and horrible angle of the sun but a Pied-billed Grebe wandered on by a little later. Not much else there.

Osprey - Fort Miller

Lindsey Duval <lindsey.duval@...>

There is an Osprey hanging out on Rt 4 in the Fort Miller area on the platform between Denton Nature Sanctuary and the north end of River Rd, appears to be patiently waiting for its mate to come.

Old Gick parcel

Lindsey Duval <lindsey.duval@...>

Just roamed the Old Gick parcel of the Wilton Wildlife Preserve and had a flyover Evening Grosbeak!

Also FOY singing Pine Warbler on the north end (Scout Rd).

Camp Saratoga

Lindsey Duval <lindsey.duval@...>

I walked a little bit of Camp Saratoga (Wilton Wildlife Preserve) and found it quite productive. Best was a Fox Sparrow quite interested in a female Cardinal who kept beating it up. A Field Sparrow has come back, along with singing Golden-crowned Kinglets and a Winter Wren (both at a creek right at the lot). Multiple Eastern Phoebes are also around, along with a large flock of Juncos.

Delegan Pond had Common and Hooded Mergs and a Bufflehead pair.
