Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers Continue

Alan

A Yellow-bellied Sapsucker has been a regular visitor to the suet feeder, the first winter I've had them at the feeders. Today I discovered there are two, one has a considerably larger patch of red on the head than the other.

I also have a pair of male Red-bellied Woodpeckers, who are not happy to share use of the suet feeder.

Yesterday's Common Redpolls did not linger and would have been easy to miss.

Clear skies, Alan
