At about 11:30 this morning, I came across about 2 to 3 dozen redpolls feeding by the side of the road in Galway. This was on Crane Road about ¼ mile west of the entrance to Galway Nature Preserve (at McConchie Road). I stopped to take pictures, but a car went by and the birds took off. I’m hoping to see some at my bird feeders this year.
