arrivals today


in our yard in Loudonville, 3 first of year (FOY) birds for us, bringing the yearly total up to 43 species: black-and-white warbler, white-crowned sparrow, and ruby-crowned kinglet. 

in addition,  yellow-bellied sapsucker continues, along with white-throated sparrows (10 today); the juncos have been gone for more than a week.
