This evening there was a steady stream of swallows (mostly Tree Swallows with a few Bank Swallows) moving along down the Hudson River in The Greene County.
Yes,even though there are plenty of insects around and some incubating a second brood, there are those that are beginning to line up to leave us right about now.
Shorebirds are also showing up in small numbers but not much in variety - yet.
But the parade has begun.
