Cackling Goose, Stillwater Bunce Lane

Saw what I believe was a Cackling Goose in a very large flock of Canada Geese on the south end of Bunce Lane in Stillwater this morning. (Thanks for ID help Zach & Naomi.)

Continued upriver to Stillwater School Nature Trail, and while we didn’t see any waterfowl in the swamp, there were two Great Blue Herons there, and some very blue Bluebirds at the edge of the forest that did not cooperate with the paparazzi.
