Yesterday at Hudson Crossing there was a pair of Philadelphia Vireos as well as a Yellow-throated Vireo. Also present were Magnolia, Black-throated Green and Black-and-white Warblers. A young Osprey was sitting on the otherwise abandoned nest on top of the pilings, crying piteously, apparently not figuring out that it's on its own now in terms of food.
