Shorebird Habitat - Schoharie County

John Roosenberg II

All:

Shorebird habitat is always really hard to find in Schoharie County.  However, right now there is some very good habitat at the Cobbleskill Reservoir as one of the ponds has been drained down to mudflats.

Compared to Albany County, we haven't had the level of shorebird excitement; but there was Semipalmated Plover, Least Sandpiper, and Greater Yellowlegs all there tonight.

Worth checking out if you are working on a Schoharie County list or in the area.

Thanks

John
