At Staats Island Rd, Deb Shaw and I were able to get good looks at the Red-necked Phalarope and Short-billed Dowitchers in the far pond on the left. The phalarope was swimming in circles and associating closely with the dowitchers. Her scope definitely helped as they were a little distant.
Just as I was leaving, they all took off and flew East.
