Five Rivers

Craig Driggs

I ran into Scott & Denise this morning at Five Rivers at about 7:00. We has a good start with a SCARLET TANAGER singing near the parking lot. There were lots of birds around, and we saw many of the species Zach mentioned earlier, except that migrant warblers were scarce. However, we did have a male WILSON'S WARBLER flitting around like crazy on the old field trail and a pair of NORTHERN WATERTHRUSHES at the far end of the beaver pond.

Great May birding!
