Saw the Shrike from 10:30-11am today at the top of the same far tree straight back from empty lot 35 on Howland Drive.

Just a thought...right before the shrike left the tree, I heard it vocalize for about 30 seconds. I then heard another vocalization, same but slightly higher pitched and seemingly from a different direction. I'm no expert, but is it possible that there is a male and female at the location?
