Can the PSK31 column be changed to FT8 or can a column be

added for FT8?

I didn't realize that FT8 had to be added as a submode

in Setup Bands & Modes.

The ADIF committee changed the way modes/submodes are defined in response to the proliferation of digital mode variants.  It takes time for the committee to define, agree on and publish changes to the ADIF standard, whereas novel digimodes variants can appear at any time and (as with FT8) become very popular very quickly, so the approach was changed to streamline it.  Changes are still not instantaneous though, given that logging software may also need to be updated accordingly whenever the ADIF standard is changed.  Bob has given us the capability to update Logger32's modes/submodes ourselves, on a whim.  In contrast, ARRL's lack of programmers delays changes to LoTW, forming a bottleneck there.
