SHIFT+Click in DX cluster window
ua4cr
Hi Bob and guys .
Is it possible to add CHIFT+Click combination in DX Cluster menu window in order only quickly view QSOs in PREVIOUS QSO window with clicking DX without triggering CAT ? Thanks in advance 73 UA4CR Slav |

Hi Slav.
For FT8 you don't need to have CAT enabled in logger32. Only the program you use for this mode (jtdx,wsjt-x) should have the CAT active. When you make a qso, the program will pass to logger32 all the data, including the frequency. For CW, I use N1MM, instead of the cw machine, and the qso's are imported into logger32 with the n1mm-logger32-bridge utility. I have CAT disabled in logger32 and I can query previous qso's without the qsy problem. For ssb the previous trick is also valid. 73 Jose EA7BJ |

Hello Jose. Thanks for the answer . Yes , this is exactly what I do now when I use JTDX . However , the CAT function in the LOGGER32 is very handy . And it allows very fast tuning to the DX frequency without wasting time switching in JTDX menu . In addition, sometimes there is a need to quickly tune in to the DX frequency who works SSB.

Stav Simply type callsign in Logbook entry window. It display all previous QSOs in Previous QSO window. If you want to QSY to CW, SSB, RTTY etc while operating FT8/FT4 then use Quick switch function. 73 de aki JA1NLX

Hi Aki .
Yes, I know about this feature. However, it's much faster to press SHIFT and click on the dx spot. This is especially useful when we want to view QSOs for several DXs one after the other in the cluster window. Best wishes UA4CR Slav |

I think we have discussed the option to allow DX Spot clicking without executing radio commands before. This is not something I want to add to Logger32. And, the key combination Shift+DX Spot Click is already used. If configured, the SO2R radio will QSY.

... and for those addicted to DX Spot clicking, check out section 14.3 (page 296) of the help documentation. Did you know you could do that? SeventyThree(s).
