N1MM Log program
Clifford Beck
Last Wednesday I got an email from CQ WPX to join in the WPX contest next weekend.
I was looking at the rules and part of it is that you have to send a serial number for each contact.
I downloaded the N1MM Logger+ program.
Can you tell me how to do these two things please.
Which menu to turn on for the serial numbers. And also to select which contest I want to do.
Look forward to hearing from you.

If you running N1MM just find the right contest and load it via N1MM and it will automatically give you the serial numbers as you work each station.

This group is for Logger32. You might want to find the group for N1MM.
However.....Go to File > Open Log in Database. Select the contest you want. The serial number function will show.
Apologize Bob.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I’ve found the one for N1MM. The contests are not listed. Also Apologies to Bob for putting it on the wrong one.

All the contests are listed in N1MM. I just use that then export my log in adif format and import to logger and all is usually well. For some reason I cant make the add on the logger32 bridge work and its really no big deal.
73 and have fun in the contest. I am planning on working a few myself . Mostly just handing out points .

The contests are listed in N1MM+ Clifford. The pre formatted contest exchange files are also there, but it pays to check the exchange is as the rules state it should be. I spent several hours last week learning the basics how to use N1MM+. The program features are extensive. I used it in two contests in the last week, RSGB CC and BARTG RTTY HF and found it superb, however I probably spent 3 hours familiarising myself with it before I used it in anger. I haven't been on their reflector but studied the 700+ page manual. The N1MM+ ADIF export files import into Logger32 nicely, thank you to Bob K4CY and the team.
The contests supported list can be found by clicking from the main window - File > New log in database > then Log type (Pull down) and choose your contest from the very long list.
Good luck with learning how to use it

There are even more contests than that by using UDC files. G4OGB is the expert at writing UDC files but you can write them yourself. A quick way into the N1MM documentation is to Google with N1MM followed by what you are looking for eg N1MM keyboard shortcuts.
