Lucky me, looks like Logger32 escaped the axe on this one. N2AMG (the L32Lookups author) monitors the reflector, he'll jump in here soon enough. But, while you're waiting, after your new install of Logger32, did you allow it to install the updates? You need to be on version 3.50.391. Seventy Three(s).

I am working on this error. It’s happening when it is checking the registry for a certain setting and the setting is not there. By this weekend I will release a new version that corrects this. One good thing is if you hit continue then you will not see this error again until the next time it is loaded. Once it has been loaded and Logger32 takes control of hiding and un-hiding it you will not see the error again..

Harry,

I’m running Windows 10.
Did you download the update file as well and copy it in the c:/L32Lookups folder it created during install? It should then replace/overwrite some files.
Hope this helps.

Harry,
My mistake. It’s very late here (2:20AM) and concentration is off.
One other thing, did you uninstall the previous version
from windows control panel before installing new version?
Maybe a reboot after then try to install new.

Not sure what else.
Sorry I can’t help further

One other thing, did you uninstall the previous version
from windows control panel before installing new version?
Maybe a reboot after then try to install new.

Not sure what else.
Sorry I can’t help further

By now the program should have checked for an update and found that there is one.

If it has not done so you can click Setup/Check for Update and it will find it that way.

The version on my website is 1.0.0.14

Harry..

Your still getting the error after installing the update?? On my Windows  VM I don’t see an error at all. If you would send me a picture of the details section of the error so I can see where it is stopping. I only need the first few lines that will tell me where it is located.

Hi Rick,

thanks for coming back and sorry for my late response, sometimes "real" work requires attention.
My PC still runs Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) and the L32Lookup version is 1.0.0.14. Checking for updates results in "No new updates available".
When I start the application, doing the first lookup, it shows the known error and after clicking "Continue" it runs fine throughout the entire session.
See the top lines of error details below:

Good luck with un-bugging
