I am trying to get my new 746 to read the frequency and band. I keep
getting the message "Radio Port: Transmit Buffer Full". Doesn't work
at all though it seems like it is trying. Please help!

Thanks!

Hi,

Usually there is problem that "Transceive" mode is set to ON in tcvr setup.
Check it and give "Transceive OFF".
I'm using IC-746 without any problems.

I did some error and message was not sent. Again: Jiri OK2WY focused
me to MOST IMPORTANT thing: If you have got this message your
interface is not powered. If it is powered from Com port it uses RTS
pin and in Logger the voltage is -9V on this pin. You must use DTR
pin for powering and add diode from DTR to +U point in your
interface. Also you can use external power from battery or P.S.U.
(not so like it :-( ). Look for my WEB page www.qsl.net/ok2wo where
is also info about ICOM interface.
