Look under main menu VIEW and you will see about ¾ down a menu item “Setup Help menu options.” That will bring you to this:
The first URL entry should be this: https://www.logger32.net/files/Logger32_v4_User_Manual.pdf
The second URL, should you want to use this, should be like this: https://www.g4ifb.com/Logger32_v4_User_Manual_DRAFT.pdf

Mike I could not get the Help URL to redirect to a local file on my system. So, I have set up one of the "utility program" options in Logger32 like so: To open local Help PDF using Edge browser: cmd /c start msedge "D:\Documents\Logger32\Logger32_v4_User_Manual.pdf" or Using Adobe etc: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe "D:\Documents\Logger32\Logger32_v4_User_Manual.pdf" Of course some of the program and file paths on your system may be different. Hope this helps. 73 John - G7SSE

I think the reason it won’t work under the ‘setup help file’ menu is that it insists on adding the HTTP:// to the local address. file:///c:/{path}/:filename.pdf} ought to work, but when you put that in it turns into HTTP://file:///c:/{path}/:filename.pdf}

Yes, you can do that ... but browsers generally take you to a locally-cached version anyway ... which means I ought to add a note about manually refreshing the page if the manual you are reading is out of date. While I'm at it, I'll expand on how to link from the Help menu to a local file. It already mentions that you might like to link to, say, the user manual/technical guide for your radio in this way. The URL (URI) syntax for local disk files can be a little tricky though. At some point we still plan to split the User Manual into separate files for each section, or possibly each chapter, but I'm not sure how to do so without breaking all the internal cross-references which, at present, point to other sections in the same file. Please bear with us caller, your business is important to us but we are a little busier than normal in Customer Service. You are mumble-mumble in the queue. 73 Gary ZL2iFB

…. Perhaps we should publish the instructions on Logger32.net somewhere, in due course – plus a hyperlink to the full User Manual for anyone who wants to read all about Logger32 without necessarily installing it.

Please include a reminder that "Locally cached help files must be manually updated to reflect the team's corrections and L32 version updates. Even the online version may sometimes be slightly 'behind the times' relative to the newest general release version."
The Logger32 software team does a great job making adjustments when rig manufacturers and authors of related amateur software make changes to their products. Kudos! -- Karl WA8NVW OH in hamlogger@groups.io

Thanks Karl.
Bob has updated the Help menu and functions so I have revised that section of the User Manual ready for the next release:
