Contest ID- column
Markku OH2BLV
I know that many columns in a log page can be arranged or alphabetized with the click of a mouse. What setting determines it ? For example, I would like to organize my log by contest ID column. Help is needed. Markku OH2BLV

The ability to sort the logbook on particular columns is determined by the coding behind the screen.
Clicking the date header, for example, sorts the QSOs by date AND time, and the clicked heading text goes red.
Clicking along the headers of your logbook will quickly show you which columns are sortable and which aren’t. Unfortunately, contest ID is not one of them, at least not in the current version …

Thanks Gary for the information.
I don’t know if anyone has wanted this before, but I personally use that column to sort different contexts. Hopefully this will become possible someday and not do a lot of work for program people. Best regards Markku OH2BLV

Thanks Aki.
I need to start using the USER 1 column to handle my own affairs. Greetings Markku oh2blv

Another option is to export your log as an ADIF file, and use ADIFmaster to sort it by the contest ID.
Not nearly as convenient as just clicking a logbook column header in Logger32, but I think it would work.

I tried using USER-1 for my purposes and it seemed to work as desired.
I just had to put one more column in the logbook and one logbook entry window, it still fit on the PC screen, hi. This is probably enough this time. Thanks for the quick feedback. ps. I have been using this program since the beginning and it is really GREAT, thank you all. 73 de Markku oh2blv/oh2oa
