Hi Joe & Bob, Downloaded/Installed the vn 2.2.159 from the site you gave me Joe and the Control Panel is now working as advertised. Thanks for the help, Customer Service on here is second to none, that’s for sure. 73 Barry / gm4gif |

Morning Joe
OK, thanks for that, I’ll download that and see how I get on. I’m reasonably happy with the ‘improved’ version, it seems to do everything except talk to the Control Panel so I’ll hang on to a copy just in case hi. 73 Barry / gm4gif |

Hi Barry
This is the site jtdx - Browse /jtdx_2.2.159/Microsoft Windows/32-bit_audio at SourceForge.net Basically it is the same version 2.2.159 but with 32 bit audio drivers for the ft8 bit. The sourceforge site also has 16 bit drivers in case your hf environment is too noisy for 32 bit. I am using the 32 bit and have not tried the 16 bit. The JTDX control panel works as before. Good luck. 73 Joe VA3TV . |

I switched jtdx to the latest public release and it works fine. There are some differences between the improved fork and my version which is 2.2.159-32A. The control panel works fine. Thought i would let you know. Thanks to Bob, Aki and others who assisted with this. 73 Joe |

OK Bob, nae worry’s, I can live with using the Rig to QSY and it’s getting near Dinner time over here so I’m switching off. Thanks for having a look at it and thanks also for a 1st Class program. 73 Barry P.S., keep taking the Grouse, it helps my pension fund along. Cheers , Anyway it’s getting near Dinner time so I’m switching off, I can live with using the Rig to QSY. 73 Barry |

The version I picked up is a fork of the 2.2.159 release with some improvements. Looks like this is then reason then?

I think v2.2.159 is the latest public release. Dunno why it doesn't change bands, I ran out of ideas. SeventyThree(s).

OK, I notice the LED is alternating between Orange and Green. Turns Orange when any Band Activity shows on the left panel of JTDX.

This was my first use of the Control panel, it was Joe’s post which prompted me to try it, I usually simply change the band using the rig. Cheers Barry . |

The LED has three colors that correspond to JTDX transmitting/receiving/decoding. SeventyThree(s)
