Add a new drop down item "DXCC_SINGLE BAND" in the AWARDS drop down , ADD new Single band entries in the Set/show awards credits, for QSL and LOTW Submitted and Granted i.e DXCC_160, DXCC_80 etc for all the valid DXCC bands.
Not sure why the programme is adding DXCC_MIXED to most of the QSO's, but if you can find out why!! Would be good to stop it.
I am at the moment running my log through ADIF Master to remove all the DXCC_MIXED flags so I can get a clean Log that only shows Confirmed and Worked, then intend to Scraper it to get the Granted's in that I can, then manually do the ones that DXCC don't have records for on LOTW.

Hello Bob
Submit a CW QSO with 1A0 on 40m for credit. Credit is granted for DXCC_MIXED and DXCC_CW. Submit a RTTY QSO with 1A0 on 40m for credit. Credits granted for DXCC_DIGITAL only because you already have DXCC_MIXED credit for 1A0 in 40m.
Yes that is correct as Pete has said, also in that first submission for a QSO with 1A0 on 40m, it will count for DXCC_SINGLE BAND 40m, any further submission of a CW QSO with 1A0 on 40m, should be rejected.
The reason I ask is that I think Logger32 needs some work in this regard. If memory serves, submitting a CW QSO for 1A0 on 40m Logger32 will flag credit for both DXCC_CW andDXCC_MIXED. Then submitting a RTTY QSO for 1A0 on 40m will flag credit for both DXCC_DIGITAL andDXCC_MIXED.
Easy enough to tet. SeventyThree(s).
Again I believe what you say does happen in L32, but as we agree that is not how it should be. The shot below for 1A0 is how DXCC_MXD should look, except the 60m and 13cm aren't valid bands for any DXCC Award. I manually changed the 1A0 entries to reflect this but as you can see every country in the shot needs changing!!! Not quite sure how I can go about that. I do have a back up before I started to sort out the GRANTED slots which maybe half correct!!
I think probably all it needs is new selections in the Set/show awards credit dialogue? and a new drop down selection in the DXCC AWARDS TABLE, say DXCC_SINGLE BAND and DXCC_CHALLENGE?
Hope this helps.

But surely, when submitting an application for (say a CW contact), if the omnipotent bless the contact why wouldn't/isn't it be automatically credited for both the DXCC_CW and the DXCC_MIXED award.
It is credited for both, but only ONCE, If the first 1A0 QSO on 20mtr CW is submitted it will be GRANTED for Mixed/CW and 20mtr, if you then submit another card for 1A0 on 40mtr CW it will only be credited for 40mtr not CW or MIXED.
PS. And I checked, the DXCC award listing DXCC_MIXED it the aggregate of all credits for that Country/band.
Can you send me a link to that statement please. It sounds correct, i.e any valid country on any valid mode, is 1 credit for mixed DXCC, but that country won't count again on any other mode or Band for MIXED DXCC.
I think what I would like to see is additional drop down selections in the DXCC Awards table, I.e DXCC_160, DXCC_80 etc, etc for all the Single Band Awards, that would remove any ambiguities between CW/MXD/PHONE or DATA. Of course it would need the same selections in the Set/show awards credits, so you could select the correct GRANTED Flag.

Yes Clublog is updating the records where it can, i.e with the records held on LOTW that match my log with correct dates and callsigns.
I agree that the DXCC team would have checked the cards for complete validity, however they didn't enter all the details.
Here is a shot of my CW DXCC record, note the DXCC number codes, click on e.g. Monaco, and the next shot is what you get. So this is what Club Log gets and what scraper downloads, hence all the errors in the import, they just can't match.
As you say the years match but the dates have to match to be able to update to G.
I have found a work around though.
As my DXBase Log agrees with LOTW as far as the totals are concerned, I have exported all credited DXCC Records as an ADIF file, converted that to a Text file, imported that to Excel, deleted all the irrelevant columns, added the | symbols in the relevant places, converted the dates to what L32 needs, saved it as a text file, removed the TAB delimiters. I now have a Text file that looks like a scraper file.
When I run it in L32, it updated around 2000 QSO's but some 700 odd QSO's were rejected.
So got some work to sort out the rejected QSO's.

Hi Ian,
Club Log should update its records if you run the LoTW Sync function, and give it a little time to do its thing. If that isn’t working properly, please contact Club Log support. Michael G7VJR and team is very responsive.
QSL cards that were submitted for DXCC credit long ago – before the online application process was invented – were processed rapidly by an overworked DXCC team taking shortcuts to keep the backlog under control. As far as I know, they did check and record the DX callsigns, bands and modes from the cards, plus the years, but I’m not entirely sure about that. You should be able to check the recorded data through the DXCC screens on LoTW, and I would expect those same details to be exported in the DXCC ADIF exports.
ARRL Scraper is one of Bob’s brainwaves.

Yes I have done the Club log sync, before I tried the scraper and it doesn't up date the QSO's only the latest new granted QSO's,
For instance on 160m L32 shows 14 QSO's Granted out of 141 Countries confirmed. 141 is my awarded total on 160m. Clublog shows the same, 141 C and 14 V.
So looks like Club Log isn't getting the info from LOTW?
My 30m Total was only 17 Granted, in L32, aafter modifying the ARRL scraper file and importing to L32 I now have 239 G and 273 C, so I guess the missing 34 are old QSO's which LOTW has no Call details for, therefore I guess its a manual trawl through?
As for the ARRL SCRAPER.EXE, I tried to find a newer version but nothing, Is it an ARRL file or Bobs or ?

Aside from using an ancient ARRL Scraper, have you tried the Club Log route, Ian? In essence:
1. Get your log reasonably up-to-date in Club Log
2. Trigger Club Log’s LoTW Sync function … and QRX a little while for it to grab the info and update your Club Log log accordingly
3. Use Logger32’s File → Synchronize LoTW (from Club Log) function to get the info from Club log and update your local log
Overall it is quicker and more reliable than the Scraper approach for me i.e. about 30 mins to get all my ~61k LoTW confirmations:

A lot of the QSO's have no Call Signs in the down loaded file due to the Paper Submissions back in the 70's/80's so understand that but others should be ok.

Hello Bob,
I guess you refer to the AWARDS, section?
If so,
Add a new drop down item "DXCC_SINGLE BAND" in the AWARDS drop down , ADD new Single band entries in the Set/show awards credits, for QSL and LOTW Submitted and Granted i.e DXCC_160, DXCC_80 etc for all the valid DXCC bands.

I guess for as to why, this is a function of mans competitive instinct!!! As for how, The process is clearly documented on the ARRL DXCC web site.

Thanks for the reply Garry,
Yes Clublog is updating the records where it can, i.e with the records held on LOTW that match my log with correct dates and callsigns.
I can't believe nobody else has had this problem?
Still it all helps to pass the time!!!

Hi Ian,
Club Log should update its records if you run the LoTW Sync function, and give it a little time to do its thing.

I’m not sure how I got it, but mine is 7 months old:

That’s a few decades in Internet Time! 😊
I’m not sure how I got it, but mine is 7 months old:

Try to Import into L32 but every QSO is rejected.
When I start the import I get a message in the box saying Waiting, Valid Callsigns for this Certificate are: G4GIR, 0 QSO's WILL BE REDIRECTED TO CORRECT ENTRIES IN THIS LOG BOOK.
The end result is 3598 QSO's not updated.
A lot of the QSO's have no Call Signs in the down loaded file due to the Paper Submissions back in the 70's/80's so understand that but others should be ok.

Ok Bob,
Thanks, If I create a new log, export my log from DXBase, import it to L32, will any of the QSO's be set to Granted in L32?

OK, what happens if you now submit another CW QSO for 1A0 on 40m? What if any, credits are granted?

Bob,
Ian, I have absolutely no comprehension of how (or for that matter, why) one applies for DXCC credits.
I guess for as to why, this is a function of mans competitive instinct!!! As for how, The process is clearly documented on the ARRL DXCC web site.
Just my thoughts Bob, wonder if anyone else has any constructive comments?
Thanks for the brilliant software.

Connected to this subject, Am I right in assuming the following.
To check my Single band DXCC Granted QSO's I use the Mixed DXCC Awards Table, which should reflect the QSO's held in LOTW for each band, indicated by the highlighted CALL SIGN I have set up.
However as this is the Mixed DXCC Table, how can I see which QSO is Granted for the Mixed DXCC Award? i.e there is only 1 QSO for e.g 1A0 that will count for Mixed DXCC and the DXCC Mode it was credited for, but as all slots are GRANTED I can't tell which was the MIXED QSO!

Thanks Bob
I knew how to get to the set/show menu, what I found was that when I checked DXCC-CW under QSL GRANTED for a QSO with G4XXX applied it and exited it, then refreshed the AWARD screen it still showed the SLOT as CONFIRMED not GRANTED, what I think I have to do is check DXCC-CW and DXCC-MIXED? Seems odd when I already have a MIXED GRANTED CREDIT with G4AAA. Is this the correct procedure?

To get to the set/show menu, you click on a QSO in the logbook entry window. If that QSO was on 80m, you add whatever credit to 80m. SeventyThree(s).

Thanks for the reply Garry,
Yes Clublog is updating the records where it can, i.e with the records held on LOTW that match my log with correct dates and callsigns.
I can't believe nobody else has had this problem?
Still it all helps to pass the time!!!
Give me your thoughts please.

Hi Ian,
Club Log should update its records if you run the LoTW Sync function, and give it a little time to do its thing.
