L32lookups certificate problem

Rick Ellison

If you have downloaded the latest build I have posted of L32Logsync and have had certificate issues I would like you to download this test file and see if it corrects the issue. It’s hard for me to code this as it does not happen on my system. The file is a zip file, you will need to extract the file and place it into the directory where you have installed L32Lookups.exe.

http://www.n2amg.com/files/L32LookupsTestBuild.zip

Please let me know if this corrects it. If not I will google some other fixes..

Yes but only with the MIXED MODE window. If I then choose another mode, all is ok. Then if I go back to the MIXED MODE window it is also ok again. But next time I open the IOTA window with MIXED MODE selected, it is not showing colours.

Excel is only used for printing award stats and the template was, I believe, written by a Spanish gentleman. There are options to export stats in a couple of other common file types and you can use them as you like in whatever spreadsheet is your fancy. If you can replicate the Excel spreadsheet functionality, or perhaps enhance it in your chosen spreadsheet I suspect it would be a welcome addition to the toolkit.

I'm not a spreadsheet jockey so keep a copy of Excel 2007 to hand should I really need it.

In addition, can you say exactly why Logger32 uses Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, I believe) in some way? I've seen it fly by on one of the boot-up windows. With LibreOffice at 10 years old and on every new machine I've seen in ages, wouldn't it be wise to match a free program (Logger32) with another free program (LibreOffice) and not a paid for proprietary one (Microsoft Office)? Just wondering, not critical.

On band map: Config, Show tips and tick Show Heading. Then put mouse pointer on the callsign will show heading in the data.

I wonder if anything would be said if I spent a little time on 14.080 RTTY, this part of the band is always full of FT8’s

segment according to IARU bandplan.

Folks if you enjoy other digital modes besides the FT modes then I would say
it's time to get on start using the digital frequencies.
WSJT-X just released the RC2 version of their latest version. And they are
expanding into other digital mode areas. Here is one of the release notes
from the latest version.

"On a trial basis, and in response to numerous suggestions from around
the world, we have added a second set of suggested dial frequencies
for FT8 on three HF bands and also on 6 meters. The new suggested dial
frequencies are 7.071, 10.133, 14.071, and 50.310 MHz."

I try to get on at least 3 evenings a week and work PSK and PSK63 and MFSK
usually around 14.071. This expanding of the FT modes down further in the
band is going to wipe out that area for any other digital mode.

Hi Bob,
since the latest two updates now SAT MODE is included in the Worked/Confirmed window, great!!
Unfortunately there is still one small issue. You can check the option but when you close the program and reopen it the setting is lost and you have to check it every time you open the program.
Thanks, 73
