Thanks Rick, its really not a problem, but I would assume eQSL has to do the same thing and doesn’t take nearly as long.  Same number of q’s to each.

Hi Jim..

This is because after the LOTW upload each qso gets checked in the tqsl log file that it was uploaded correctly and then if it was uploaded correctly it sends a message to Logger32 to change the LOTW flags from LOTW Send being turned off and LOTW Sent being turned on. There is no way to do this in bulk so it has to be done singlely for each qso.

As long as we are on the subject of LogSync, I have noticed this most recent version seems to take a long time to get the focus back from LOTW send.  All the other functions return the focus quickly.

Thanks for your app and regards, happy 4th de w4uck.

Dear Rick Hi.

I am using the 2.0.18.

I have the correct time and zone.

The problem is solved with one new install ( removing everything from the LogSync directory).

It is strange because it starts suddenly ,like that , without any change in the computer but just the W10 update.

You could try writing all the offending QSO details on a sheet of paper. Make sure they are 100% correct.
Delete that QSO from your Logbook.
Add QSO - then fill in the data.
Make sure it’s still correct.
Maybe recalc if necessary, but I doubt it.

I notice that when I have recovered logger by copying the .exe file – when I come to shutdown the process takes much longer than usual.

Logger seems to be search for the backup folder.

The backup is saved – so no harm is done.

Does anybody else see this?

Surprise, surprise ... I have copied Logger32.exe ver 3.50.419 bait to two other unprotected PCs that are online and running Microsoft Defender. So far tonight, no bites. I wonder why? So, again, let me encourage all Logger32 users to bait Microsoft by leaving an unprotected copy (that is not included in your AV exclusions) of the most recent auto-updated Logger32.exe on your desktop. And, as soon as the omnipotent AV provider has it quarantined (again this week?), submit a report at: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission

I've been using Norton 360 for over three years on this computer build and have never had an issue after I added the L32 exceptions.

Many people seem to have an issue with Norton (Symantec) but I never have. I decided to use Norton after the company I worked for, a large communications company, partnered with them to vet their own communications software offerings. Felt if my company used and trusted them, then I should also.

Have never used Microsoft AV, Defender, etc. I always felt it was like the fox guarding the hen house. Sure, it's free, but unlike L32, it doesn't seem to work well for many.
