Hi
John OK but the problem is how you can have the PROP_MODE with ADIF Filter ?

We can select this PROP_MODE Field with ADIF Filter that is the problem

With L32 no Problem we have Prop_mode and SAT_Mode and SAT_Name

Can you see a sceen copy of the ADIF FILTER to use ?
Thanks

As stated; using PROP_MODE as the user defined field and SAT in the contents works fine here.

I set up the following QSO in my log as a test, then ran my log ADIF through the filter program.

<BAND:2>2M <CALL:5>F8AOF <COMMENT:8>via FO85 <CONT:2>EU <CQZ:2>14 <DXCC:3>227 <FREQ:10>145.000000 <ITUZ:2>27 <MODE:2>FM <NAME:6>Jerome <OPERATOR:5>G7SSE <PFX:2>F8 <PROP_MODE:3>SAT <QSO_DATE:8:D>20191029 <TIME_ON:6>134200 <QTH:4>Test <RST_RCVD:2>59 <RST_SENT:2>59 <TIME_OFF:6>134400 <APP_LOGGER32_QSO_NUMBER:5>13694 <COUNTRY:6>France <APP_LOGGER32_LAT:4>48.8 <APP_LOGGER32_LNG:4>-2.3  <EOR>

As this was the only QSO in my log with SAT in the Prop Mode field this was the only result.

This is assuming you are actually using the PROP_MODE field in Logger32;

Hello
Jerome
You have to use the "USER_1" Field into L32 and add for exemple "SAT" into this file when you make a QSO via Satellite

and after with the ADIF Filter you can select in the "use User defined Field" the "APP_LOGGER32_USER_1 Field and select the word "SAT" into the Contents Field
I think that works :

I've been doing some tests, all seems to work as expected here.

Would you like to send me a copy of your ADIF log and I'll have a try with it.

Bob, I agree with Dave.  Club Log only amends the changed entries.  The report just showed 2 anomalies, due to my typing errors, that are now corrected in L32.

Thanks again for your help. 73.

Hi John
Thank you for this program "Adif_Filter".
The program seems to work well, except for what I want to get.
Indeed, when I define the options "User defined field" and Field Name "PROP_MODE" and "Contents" SAT ", all the QSOs of my log are chosen.
The QSO Sat are not filtered in this field PROP-MODE "with the option" SAT ".
The Mode-SAT, Name-SAT options work well.
An idea?

Have a look at the ADIF Filter utility by Marek - SP7DQR

http://sp7dqr.pl/en/converters.php#ADIF_FILTER

It may be able to provide the sorting options you require.

L32/ PartialLOG

Hi,
I would like to export one part of my log by propagation mode as in Lotw's TQSL menu.

I know this possibility does not exist in the current version of L32.
I find it will be interesting to offer this new posibility in L32 to make an export other than modes or frequencies.
So we could export our QSO in MSK144, Satellites, Rain Scatter EME ....

A link on the french radio amateur forum or I ask this same question with photos :
https://radioamateur.org/forums/index.php?/topic/36970-logger32-partial-log/

Thanks for reading me.

Bob, many thanks for your answer; as ever, spot on.  I've done what you said and there are now far fewer anomalies.

You must get peed off telling people to look in the help files.  I do try - I've even a printout of the whole lot, some 500 pages!  the trouble is they are so comprehensive that it's a bit like a dictionary (you have to know how to spell a word before you can look up how to spell it!).

Many thanks again from an old, thick fart.  I now intend to submit the corrected log to Club Log and see what arises.  I may have to trouble you again, but I'll try not to. :-)

I recently uploaded 50+ years worth of L32 log to Club Log.  As you may imagine, the upload report came back with a load of possible problems, many of which seem reasonable and require editing of my L32 log.

The majority are incorrectly ascribed countries by L32 that require editing (adif?).

If I just change the country adif number will this be sufficient, or do I have to edit the continent, zone, iota, etc details as well?  As that would increase the magnitude of the task I'm hoping that just a change in country number might automatically ripple through the other changes when the edited file is loaded back into L32.  I say hopeful, not expectant!

Many thanks in advance,

Same Radio essentially John, except the MP version does 200 watts out and has a separate PSU with its own built in speaker. Electronic architecture is the same other than that as far as I can tell. The 20-0 watt MP version has extra roofing filters installed at the factory rather than accessories.
