Antonio, use of a dual ports on the Kam+ do not work. You choose
one or the other. 73 Ed

Bob Marumba <radiobob69@...>
Nope you don't need KISS mode you need software that works with
the TNC in HOST mode to use both ports at the same time and Logger dont do that. 73's radiobob From: "Rick Williams" <ve7asr@islandnet.com>________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

Labels.
jackqm@...
I have seen this question asked once before. I mainly use labels that
are 3 wide per page and i cant find a way to utilize this with the LOGGER program. Is there perhaps a way to export the Labels to a file the I could use my word proc to get them on the labels? Any info would be appreciated. Jack N7ONC

In Utilities, use Export QSL, and select output in CSV format. You should then be able to use the .CSV file in Word with mail merge or Word form letters. Details on how to use Word like this are in Microsoft Word. This is how I generate all my QSLs. Mike de G0WZY

YAESU FT747GX
N.D.KING <nking@...>
Hi I have been experimenting with logger for some time now and find it an excellent program.Looking in the history file for updates I see that the yaesu 747 gx rigg control is not fully implemented has this been sorted in later version and if so how do I get it to work.I have tried it but all that happens is that the rigg flashes C.A.T in upper left of the lcd then it goes to FM. Help in getting this to run correctly required thanks.

RTTY WITH SOUND CARD
N.D.KING <nking@...>
Are there any plans to implement RTTY from the sound card like PSK as I do not have a TNC/MODEM.

|
Re: RTTY WITH SOUND CARD
K4SB <k4sb@...>
Bob is supposingly working on implementing RTTY with the sound
card, but the last time I talked to him, he is planing a 45.x cycle shift. He's said a standard 170 shift is too inefficient. So, Logger users can look forward to working other Logger users on RTTY in the future. 73 Ed

Turn off your HTML email
Fred Decker <fdecker@...>
I would like to remind everyone to please check the settings on your email
program and turn OFF HTML mail for newsgroups and lists. Make sure to set mail sent to hamlogger as "text only". If you see the sendence "[non-text portions of this message have been removed]" at the bottom of all your posts, you are an offender. :) For example, on outlook express, you go to TOOLS/ADDRESS BOOK, then find the hamlogger email name and double click on it. Go to the NAME tab and at the bottom left check "send email using plain text only". Then back on the main menu using TOOLS/OPTIONS, choose the SEND tab and check "reply to messages using the format in which they were sent". Other programs have similar options. If we were an impolite newsgroup, all of your messages would have bounced and never been displayed on the list. However, the settings are such that we strip any non-text portions and display only the plain text content of your post. However, this means that you are sending emails 3 times the size that they need to be all over the internet and that they must be filtered at egroups. Thanks for taking the time to learn the options on your email program. It is appreciated. Fred N4IXL

Zakanaka, psk programs
Fred Decker <fdecker@...>
Can anyone give me some education about all these programs and how they
work with logger? The one that comes with logger seemed like it does everything these others do with the exception of a small waterfall display. I thought that was going to be upgraded. But now we have Zakanaka, which looks great, but I don't see how different it is from DigiPan. I want something integrated to run within Logger, though I guess that isn't critical. I want a big waterfall display, and I want simultaneous displays. Logger's program looks great, but I can't see how to have 3 displays on Zakanaka and DigiPan. I get either waterfall or spectrum. And I can't get that jiggly line display on either of them. Fred N4IXL
