I made testing with "Auto golist lookup" checked and do not see your problem....
Maybe something different between our settings.

Google WinMerge. Its free and will compare two files line by line allowing movement from one file to the other.

I renamed my L32 INI file to OLD, & then copied & pasted the earlier edition into the L32 folder. Opened L32, & all seems to be working again!!
So I then opened both INI

Zip databases and logbook, zip user files. 2 icons on tle left on iconbar in L32.
Install L32 on new computer, unzip backup created earlier.
Recalculate statistics. Update. Done.
No need to use adi

I've clugged the problem by editing the .wav file using Audacity to insert a few milliseconds of dead air at the start of the file.

Don’t forget the config files for the individual windows/functions.
In addition to the Logger32.ini there are several INI,DB and TXT files that complete the full package.
Hence the recommendation

a) The best way is to make full backups on the old setup. Suggest you export your logbook to an ADI file
b) Run a full install and let it update on the new computer
c) Unpack
